Katie was found near a nursing home, where she had been living as a stray for at least two years. Despite her tough circumstances, it’s clear she was once deeply loved—she’s microchipped and spayed, though sadly, her owner couldn’t be reached.

Katie’s sweet nature shines through; she adores affection, purrs contentedly, and “makes biscuits” with her paws, a sign of her gentle, loving spirit.

She recently visited the vet for treatment for her eyes and ears, both affected by her long time outdoors. Through it all, Katie was patient and well-behaved, winning hearts at the clinic.

Now, Katie is safe, warm, and loved in foster care and she won’t have to face another cold winter outside and alone.
